HOD and Assistant Professor

Welcome to the First Year Engineering Department. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the beginning of an exciting journey in engineering. The first year is a crucial phase that lays the foundation for your academic, professional, and personal growth. Our department is committed to providing a vibrant learning environment where students acquire strong fundamentals in engineering, develop analytical thinking, and cultivate the values of discipline, ethics, innovation, and lifelong learning. Aligned with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, we emphasize outcome-based education, experiential learning, interdisciplinary exposure, and skill development. Through well-equipped laboratories, experienced faculty, mentoring, value-added courses, technical activities, and student-centric teaching practices, we strive to nurture competent engineers capable of addressing real-world challenges. Beyond academics, we encourage students to actively participate in technical competitions, innovation projects, professional society activities, sports, cultural events, and community engagement. These experiences help build leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and a spirit of social responsibility. Our dedicated faculty members serve not only as teachers but also as mentors, guiding students throughout their engineering journey. We believe that every student possesses unique potential, and our mission is to provide the opportunities, encouragement, and support needed to transform that potential into excellence. I invite you to become a part of our dynamic learning community and make the most of the opportunities available. Together, let us build a strong foundation for a successful engineering career and contribute meaningfully to society through knowledge, innovation, and integrity. I wish all our students a rewarding, enriching, and successful academic journey.
