4. Research Support and Benefits

4.1 Financial Assistance

  • The institution will provide 50% reimbursement of registration fees for national and international conferences where the faculty member is presenting a paper.

stablishment of the Research, Development, and Climate Action (RDCA) Cell

The formation of this integrated Cell is in direct compliance with the requirements set forth in the Corrigendum 2026-27 of the AICTE Approval Process Handbook (APH) 2024-27, which mandates the formation of a Research and Development Cell / Climate Cell. The RDCA Cell will serve as the central coordinating body for all research, innovation, faculty development, and environmental sustainability initiatives across the institution.

 

Key Objectives of the RDCA Cell

The Cell shall be responsible for:

  1. Promoting R&D: Fostering a robust research culture, encouraging faculty and students to undertake research projects, publish in high-impact journals, and file patents.
  2. Resource Mobilization: Identifying and securing external funding (grants, consultancy, sponsored projects) from governmental and private agencies.
  3. Climate & Sustainability: Implementing and monitoring green campus initiatives, conducting energy audits, promoting environmental awareness, and integrating climate action into academic and operational activities.
  4. Innovation & Startups: Nurturing innovation, facilitating technology transfer, and supporting the establishment of student and faculty startups.
  5. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Promotion: To promote the significance and implementation of IPR activities across the institute.
