Training and Placement Cell
The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) serves as a vital link between students and the industry, facilitating career opportunities through campus recruitment, internships, industry interactions, and skill development programs. The office is committed to enhancing students’ employability by organizing placement drives, aptitude and technical training, soft skills development, mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and career guidance workshops. By collaborating with leading companies and organizations, the TPO strives to provide quality placement opportunities and prepare students to meet the evolving demands of the corporate world, enabling them to build successful and rewarding careers.
DYPSN Training and Placement cell encompasses three main activities: Training, Education and Development.
Training: The Training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as Graduate Engineer. Trainees keeping in view the current trends and technologies being used by the industries.
Education : Appropriate skills for the job profile are acquired by the students during the classroom sessions on Aptitude and Conceptual training.
Development : This activity focuses on the personality development to make the students reliable, with the positive attitude and right decision making

Terms
Training and Placement Policy
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall strive to enhance the employability of all eligible students through structured training, career guidance, internships, and placement opportunities.
❖ The institution shall provide equal and fair opportunities to all eligible students for participating in training programmes and campus recruitment drives without discrimination
❖ The institution shall organize comprehensive training programmes in aptitude, technical skills, communication skills, soft skills, personality development, and interview preparation to improve students' employability
❖ Every eligible student shall register with the Training and Placement Cell to participate in placement-related activities and maintain an updated student profile
❖ Students shall actively participate in mandatory placement training programmes and maintain the prescribed attendance as notified by the Training and Placement Cell.
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall establish and strengthen collaborations with industries, corporate organizations, professional bodies, and alumni to facilitate placements, internships, live projects, and industry interactions
❖ The institution shall encourage all students to undertake internships, industrial visits, certification programmes, and project-based learning to enhance practical knowledge and industry readiness.
❖ Students shall maintain professional ethics, discipline, punctuality, and appropriate formal dress during all placement, internship, and training activities.
❖ Students shall provide accurate academic, personal, and placement-related information. Submission of false or misleading information may result in disciplinary action or cancellation of placement eligibility.
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall maintain confidentiality of student records and recruiter information and use such information only for academic and placement purposes.
❖ Campus recruitment activities shall be conducted in a transparent, ethical, and professional manner in accordance with the eligibility criteria specified by the recruiting organization.
❖ Students shortlisted by recruiting organizations shall attend all stages of the selection process unless exempted by the Training and Placement Officer.
❖ The institution shall promote career opportunities in core engineering, information technology, research, higher education, entrepreneurship, public sector organizations, and competitive examinations
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall regularly organize mock aptitude tests, group discussions, coding assessments, technical interviews, and HR interviews to prepare students for recruitment
❖ Students receiving placement offers shall comply with the offer acceptance procedures and inform the Training and Placement Cell regarding their joining status within the stipulated timeline.
❖ The institution may regulate participation in subsequent campus recruitment drives after a student secures a placement offer, as per the approved placement rules of the institution.
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall maintain accurate records of training programmes, internships, placement statistics, employer feedback, and student progression for continuous improvement and accreditation purposes.
❖ The institution shall periodically assess the effectiveness of training programmes through student feedback, employer feedback, placement outcomes, and performance indicators.
❖ Faculty members shall support the Training and Placement Cell by mentoring students, facilitating industry interaction, and encouraging participation in career development activities.
❖ Student Placement Coordinators shall assist in organizing placement activities, communicating official information, coordinating recruiters, and maintaining discipline throughout the recruitment process.
❖ The institution shall develop and monitor measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to placements, internships, skill development, industry engagement, and student employability
❖ The Training and Placement Cell shall review placement performance annually and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve placement quality and institutional outcomes.
❖ The institution shall encourage lifelong learning by promoting value-added courses, certification programmes, emerging technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship, and continuous professional development.
❖ Any grievance related to training, internships, or placement activities shall be addressed through a structured grievance redressal mechanism established by the institution.
❖ This Training and Placement Policy shall be reviewed annually by the Training and Placement Committee to ensure alignment with AICTE guidelines, NBA and NAAC accreditation requirements, industry expectations, and institutional strategic goals
