I am very happy to express my views on the development of Electrical Engineering Department. Department of Electrical Engineering was established in the year 2019, approved by AICTE New Delhi, DTE, Mumbai and affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur. The department is well established with good number of experienced faculty members. The department moves with a vision to produce competent and disciplined globally accepted electrical engineers.
The department faculty work with excellent team spirit in different technical team like Power System, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Modern Electric Drives, Control System, Renewable Energy, Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation, Programming of Microcontroller, Digital Signal processing etc. which leads to key research publications in these areas. The department strives to provide a conductive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply them to real world problems. To motivate the students the department organizes regular training in state of art PMS –Robotics hardware ,workshop, technical events, seminars & industrial visits, MOUs with SPIT Bombay and Go-green industry e.t.c. The objective of the department is to prepare students for a successful career in Industry, Research and Academics to meet the needs of growing technology. Our efforts are to develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts for application to product design. We provide an opportunity for students to work as members of a team on multidisciplinary projects.Department student’s associations ‘EESA’ encourage students to participate into State, National level events. Many students of our department achived the role of honour at the university level in academics. Students showcase their excelled in various sports and intercollegiate technical events.
